Being a start-up, Food Freaks had their work cut out for them in terms of building a brand from scratch.
Initially a food cart based buisness, then developing into a full fledge catering service, Food Freaks quickly realized that their key to success was to leverage the power of social media.

 

Our primary focus centered around interaction with consumers - notifying fans daily as to where the truck would be located and what festivals they would be attending as a vendor.
 

We also incorporated programs such as Perkville, which allowed consumers to gain points for tweeting about us or "liking" us on Facebook, which could later be redeem for discounts on food items, beverages or catered events. The result was a substantial increase in our overall social media presence as well as increased media coverage and customer loyalty.
